Butterballs                           Racine Journal

2 cups flour             ½ tsp. salt

1 cup butter (only butter)                        1/4 cup honey

3/4 tsp. almond extract                        1 cup ground almonds

 

Cream butter and honey.  Add extract and nuts.  Add flour and salt.  Do not overbeat.  Shape into 1 inch balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.  Roll in powdered sugar when warm and again when they are cool.
