Bread Pudding                                                               Grandma Petersen (Lil)

1 quart stale bread                                                        1 pint milk

1/2 cup sugar`                                                                2 eggs

1/3 cup raisins                                                               grated nutmeg

 

Beat the whole eggs, add milk, sugar and grating of nutmeg.  Pour over the bread in a pudding dish.  Let stand until thoroughly soaked and bake 20 minutes in a moderate oven.
