Orange Sour Cream Loaf                              Jan Peterson

8 Tbsp. butter                                                 1 cup sugar

2 large eggs                                                    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel

2 cups flour                                                     1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. soda                                                   1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup light sour cream

 

Beat butter and sugar with electric mixer.  Beat in eggs, then orange peel.  Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, beating in slowly, alternating with sour cream.  Spread in greased pan.  Bake 55 to 65 minutes until pick comes out clean.
