Peanut Butter Bars                                              Deloris Isaacson

½ cup butter                                                          1 cup sugar

1 ½ cup flour                                                          2 eggs separated

½ cup milk                                                              2 tsp. Baking powder

½ tsp. Vanilla

 

Cream butter and sugar.  Add egg yolks and milk.  Add sifted dry ingredients and beat well.  Fold in egg whites that have been beaten stiff.  Bake in 9 x 13 pan.  Cut in squares.  Frost all sides - roll in chopped salted peanuts

 

Frosting

 

2 cups powdered sugar                                     ½ cup butter

Milk - enough to spread
