2 cups sugar                                                             1/2 cup water

Pinch of Salt                                                             7 oz. Marshmallow Cream

1/2 cup chopped nuts                                                1 tsp. vanilla

 

Boil sugar, water, and salt until it forms a hard ball in water (285).  Place marshmallow creme in a mixing bowl and stir in hot syrup.  Continue stirring until slightly stiff or until the candy holds a peak.  Fold in nuts and vanilla.  Drop from spoon on to waxed paper or buttered plate.
