Spiced Nuts Jan Peterson
1 egg white 1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. cinnamon ½ cup sugar
3/4 tsp. salt 3 cups large pecan halves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Beat egg white until frothy. Add water and beat until soft peaks form. Stir in pecans until coated. Combine sugar, salt and spices. Pour over pecans and toss gently. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 300 for 30 minutes , stirring occasionally. Remove immediately and place on wax paper. Store in airtight container.
