Cabbage Casserole                                   Jan Peterson

1 lb. hamburger                                          1 onion

Brown, season to taste

1 small head cabbage (sliced thinly)

4 ‑ 6 slices American cheese                   1 can tomato soup (undiluted)

 

Brown meat and onion, Place a layer of cabbage (quite thick) in a 1 1/2 or 2 qt. casserole. Add all the meat.  Finish off with rest of cabbage.  Pour soup on top.  Cover with the cheese.  Cover and bake at 350 for one hour.  Do not peak.
