Five Hour Beef Stew                      Sharon Congleton

2 lbs. stew meat                      6 carrots

3 potatoes                      onions

1 small can mushrooms w/juice                      1 Tablespoon sugar

1 can tomatoes                      1 teaspoon salt

3 Tablespoons tapioca

 

Bake covered 5 hours at 250 degrees.  Do not remove cover.  You may change vegetables as desired ‑ green beans, rutabaga, turnips, celery.
