Hot Chicken Salad                        Hillary Isaacson

2# chicken breasts                        2 bay leaves

4 cups celery                        1 can cream of chicken soup

2 cups mayonnaise                        2 cups sour cream

1 - 8 oz. can mushroom pieces                        1 cup slivered almonds

2 Tbsp. chopped onion                        2 Tbsp lemon juice

Salt                        Pepper

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese                        2 can French Fried Onion Rings

 

Place chicken in Dutch oven - cover with water, add bay leaves - bring to boil.  Cook uncovered until juice is clear.  Remove and cut in ½" pieces.  Add next 12 ingredients.  Put in 13 x 9" pan.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through.  Sprinkle with cheese and onions.  Return to oven for 5 minutes.
