1 pound ground beef                        1/2 cup raw rice

3 Tablespoons chopped onion                        1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning

1/4 teaspoon pepper                        1 teaspoon salt


Form into balls and brown in 3 Tablespoons fat.  Drain off excess fat and add two cans tomato sauce and 1 cup water.  Cover tightly.  Simmer 45‑50 minutes until rice is tender.
