Stove Top Italian Pork Chops                        Jan Peterson

6 Pork Chops                        1 Tbsp. oil

1 onion sliced                        1 garlic clove minced

15 oz. tomato sauce                        1 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. oregano leaves                        1 jar sliced mushrooms

1 green pepper cut into strips

 

Brown chops in oil - add garlic and onion.  Add tomato sauce, sugar and oregano.  Simmer until tender.  Add mushrooms and green pepper.  Simmer 15 minutes.  Serve with spaghetti.  (220 calories)
