Almond Cracker Cookies                     Lynn Petersen

(Use Keebler Club Crackers).  Break into quarters and spread on cookie sheet with sides (15 1/2" x 10 1/2").  Cover with sliced or slivered almonds.

 

Boil the following together for one minute:

3/4 cup sugar                        1 stick oleo

1 stick butter                        (I use a little less of each)

 

Pour over crackers.  Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.  Check on them after 8 minutes to be sure they aren't getting too dark.  Spread on wax paper to cool.  Store in air‑tight container
