Banana Bars                                                             Melonie

½ cup butter                                                                1 ½ cup sugar

2 eggs                                                                          1 cup sour cream

1 cup mashed bananas (2 large)                                2 cups flour

1 tsp. Salt                                                                     1 tsp. Baking soda

1 tsp. Vanilla                                                                 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Preheat over to 350 degrees.  Spray 9” x 13” pan.  Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, sour cream and vanilla.  Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.  Gradually add dry ingredients to cream mixture.  Stir in mashed bananas.  Bake for 22 to 24 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.  Refrigerate

Frosting

1 – 8 oz. Cream cheese

½ cup soft butter

Pinch of salt

2 tsp. Vanilla

3 ¾ cups powdered sugar

Cream butter and cream cheese.  Add vanilla gradually, add sugar and salt and beat until spoon.  (If you want the bars thicker, use a smaller pan).
