Chocolate Sandies Becky Grasso
6 Tbsp. butter, softened 2 ½ Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla 1 ½ tsp. cold water
1 cup cake flour ¼ tsp. salt
1 cup miniature chocolate chips ½ cup pecans
Powdered sugar for rolling
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar, blend in vanilla and water. Mix in flour and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into balls the size of marbles. Bake at 300 degrees on ungreased cookie sheets for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool, then roll in powdered sugar. Makes about 5 dozen.
