Cocoa Kiss Cookies Marie Hilliker
1 cup butter, softened 2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla 1 2/3 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa 1 cup finely chopped pecans
About 36 milk chocolate candy kisses Powdered sugar.
Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa and chopped pecans. Blend with butter mixtures. Cover; chill dough for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Wrap scant tablespoonful of dough around each chocolate kiss. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute, then transfer to wire cooling racks. Roll or dust with powdered sugar. Makes about 3 dozen cookies. Marie got this recipe from her friend, Melonie.
