Kolaches                        Becky Grasso

2 3/4 cup flour                        1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

2 3/4 sticks of oleo

 

Have cheese and oleo at room temperature.  Cut in oleo with the flour.  Add the cream cheese and mix well.  Refrigerate for 2 hours.  Roll out in powdered sugar, a small piece at a time.  Cut with a round cutter, put on 1/2 tsp. filling, fold over and seal with a fork.  Do not put on too much filling or it will ooze out.  Use any Solo filling - nut, apricot, prune, raspberry, etc.  Brush with beaten egg before baking on lightly greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 until just golden.  When cold, dust with powdered sugar.
