Lemon Bars                        Jan Peterson

2 cups flour

1/2 cup powdered sugar                        1 cup oleo or butter

Mix and pat lightly into 13 x 9" pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

4 eggs slightly beaten                        2 cups white sugar

6 Tablespoons lemon juice                        1 teaspoon baking powder

4 Tablespoons flour

 

Combine ingredients and pour over baked crust.  Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.  Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.  Cut into bars. ‑‑ or you can top with 1 cup powdered sugar mixed with 2 to 3 Tablespoons of lemon juice.
