Meltaway Cookies

1 cup butter ½ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. cake flour

1/4 tsp. Salt

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour by spooning into cup of by sifting. Add flour and salt. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes. While warm dip in confectioners sugar - or use cookie press and frost with powdered sugar frosting (color maybe added to frosting).
