Peanut Butter Cup Cookies                        Jan Peterson

1 3/4 c. flour  ½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda  ½ c. butter, softened

½ c. sugar  ½ c. peanut butter

½ c. packed brown sugar  1 egg beaten

1 tsp. vanilla                                                           2 T. milk

22 Peanut Butter cups, cut in half

 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Cream butter, sugar, peanut butter and brown sugar until fluffy.  Beat in egg, vanilla and milk.  Add dry ingredients; mix well.  Shape into 40 balls and place each into an ungreased mini muffin pan.  Bake at 10 minutes.  Immediately push half of peanut butter cup into each cookie.  Put in oven another 2 minutes.  Remove gently from pan.
