Praline Cookies Aunt Ethel (Johnson)
2 sticks butter or oleo 1 cup brown sugar packed
1 cup chopped nuts Saltine crackers
Put butter and sugar in saucepan and bring to boil. Boil two minutes. Place enough saltine crackers on a jelly roll pan which has been greased. Pour hot mixture over crackers. Sprinkle nuts over mixture. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 10 minutes. Cool slightly and cut between squares of crackers. Store tightly in sealed container. If they become hard, reheat in oven.
