Pretzel Nut Bars Jan Peterson

10 oz. salted mixed nuts, chopped 1 - 18 oz. pkg. refrigerated sugar cookies

1 c. toffee bits 1/12 c. mik chocolate chips

c. butterscotch chips 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter

1 c. chopped pretzel sticks


Grease 13 x 9 inch pan. Spread chopped nuts in bottom. Cut cookie dough into 3/8" slices and place over the chopped nuts. Press to form crust. Sprinkle toffee bits over crust and press lightly into dough. Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool. In bowl, combine chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until melted, stirring once during melting. Add peanut butter and blend well. Stir in pretzels. Spread evenly over baked crust.
