Ranger Cookies Carolyn McCabe

1 cup flour tsp. Baking soda

1/4 tsp. Baking power 1/8 tsp. Salt

cup butter cup nuts (optional)

cup brown sugar 1 egg

1 tsp. Vanilla 1 cup quick cooking oats

1 cup rice cereal cup flaked coconut


Thoroughly mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside. Preheat oven to 375. In bowl. Combine butter and sugars. Beat until fluffy and well blended; beat in egg. Add vanilla and mix well. Gradually add flour mixture until just blended. Stir in oats, rice cereal, coconut and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons on to lightly greased cooking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes at 350. Makes about 42 - 2 inch cookies.
