Dilly Beans                                                                  Lynn Petersen

Makes 6 quarts

Green Beans (straight and large)                            3 cloves garlic per quart

3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper                                            dill

Pack dill in bottom of jar.  Pack beans straight up. Top off with more dill, garlic and pepper

Boil

7 1/2 cups water                                                         7 1/2 cups vinegar

3/4 cup canning salt

Pour hot over beans and seal.   Process 10 minutes in boiling bath, must wait until comes to a boil and then time.  Ready in two weeks.  Enjoy with bloody mary's or as a relish with dinner.
