Pistachio Dessert                        Becky Grasso

1 cup flour  ½ cup chopped walnuts

½ cup butter

Filling

3 oz. Cream cheese  1 cup powdered sugar

11 cup Cool Whip  ½ tsp. Vanilla

2 - 3 oz. Pkg. Instant pistachio pudding mix  3 cups cold milk

 

Mix together flour, nuts and butter and press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.  Allow to cool.  Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, Cool Whip and vanilla.  Spread over crust.  Make the pudding using 3 cups of milk; spread over cream cheese layer.  Cover with plastic wrap and chill until set.  Cover with more Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped pistachios
