Greek Herring Salad                                                   Grandma Petersen (Lil)

1 22 oz. jar herring in wine sauce drained & cut into small pieces

2 carrots grated fine

1 medium green pepper, chopped fine

2 1/2 oz. black olives ‑ chopped

Mix and add 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 cup sour cream, 1 Tablespoon celery seed and 2 Tablespoons lemon juice.  Mix together and keep refrigerated.
