Holiday Nuggets Jan Peterson
1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract 2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Powdered Sugar Colored Sugar
Cream butter, margarine and
sugar. Blend in vanilla and almond
extracts. Add flour, salt and
nuts. Shape into 1 1/4" balls; place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with fingers. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes or until the
bottoms are lightly browned. Cool and
sprinkle with mixture of powdered and colored sugars.
