Apple Cream Pie 'n Streusel Jan

3 cups peeled and sliced apples 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 unbaked pie shell
Cream Cheese Filling:
2/3 cup sugar 1/8
tsp. salt
2 eggs 1
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. softened butter 3 oz. softened cream cheese
Streusel Crumbs:
1/3 cup brown sugar 2
Tbsp. softened butter
1/4 cup flour 1/4
cup chopped walnuts
Place apples in unbaked pie crust, sprinkle with
cinnamon. Cream together sugar, eggs
and butter, add salt, vanilla and softened cream cheese and blend until smooth.
Spoon cream cheese filling over
apples. Mix the brown sugar, flour,
softened butter and chopped walnuts together to form the streusel crumbs. then
sprinkle over top of the cream cheese filling.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, lower heat to 350 degrees and bake
15 minutes more.
