Fresh Strawberry Pie Jan Peterson

Use Crisco pie crust as for Banana Cream Pie. When cool add 1 quart fresh strawberries sliced. Cook 1 package strawberry Salida Danish Dessert with 1 3/4 cup water until thickened. Pour over strawberries. Cool and serve with whipped cream. This is Ron's favorite pie.
