Chocolate Cheese Cake                        Becky Grasso

 

Crust:

1 - 8 1/2 oz. pkg.. chocolate cookie wafers crushed

1/3 cup margarine                        1/3 cup sugar

 

Filling:

3 - 8 oz.  pkg. cream cheese                        1 cup sugar

3 Tbsp. flour

4 oz. sweet cooking chocolate, melted                        3 eggs

2 Tbsp. half and half                        2 tsp. Vanilla

 

Topping:

1/2 cup sour cream                        1/2 tsp. vanilla

 

Heat oven to 400 degrees.  In small bowl combine crust ingredients, mix well.  Press over bottom and 1/2 inches up sides of ungreased 9" pie pan.  In large bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, flour and chocolate.  Beat at highest speed until well blended.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Blend in half and half plus vanilla.  Pour into crust.  Bake at 400 for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 300 and continue baking 55 to 60 minutes.  In small bowl, combine topping ingredients;  mix well until smooth.  Spread over cheesecake when cool.
